Description
The twists and turns of today’s marketplace has created an environment where organizations who wish to stay both relevant and profitable must be willing and committed to making adaptations to the traditional methods of delivering value to the customer.
The journey from “the way we have traditionally done things” to “the Agile way of doing things” is one that can include a fair amount of growing pains for an organization and the people working in them. For the organization that has determined to dip its toe in the Agile waters, there will be needed mindset “revolutions” in terms of our attitudes toward work, our values as individuals working in organizations, as well as our professional perspectives and mindset toward the work we do. In this course, we consider some of these challenges as we determine if our organizations are ready to make the leap.
By the end of this course, the student will be able to:
- Explain the commitments required from the leaders and the people of the organization as they embark on an Agile journey
- Discuss the challenges associated with bringing about an Agile transformation into a current culture
- Describe the roadmap for selling the Agile journey to an organization
- List the characteristics of an Agile organization
