Course Eligibility & Content

Are your courses approved by PMI?

Our specialized courses provide PMI pre-approved PDU renewal credit for the PMI-ACP®, PMI-RMP®, PMI-CP® and PMI-SP® specialty credentials.

What type of PDUs will I earn within the PMI Talent Triangle® (ways of working, power skills, business acumen)?
Each course in our catalog provides a variety of PMI Talent Triangle PDUs, which may fall under one or more categories: Ways of Working, Power Skills, and Business Acumen. You can review the specific PDU breakdown for each course directly in the course catalog to see how each aligns with your PMI Talent Triangle requirements. All our 60 PDU Renewal Plans provide complete PMI Talent Triangle credit for PMP and PgMP renewal.

Do these courses provide credit for both the PMP and the PMI-ACP?
Yes, many of our courses are eligible for credit toward both the PMP® and PMI-ACP® certifications. The specific PDU allocation for each certification is detailed in the course catalog, allowing you to choose courses that align with the requirements for either or both certifications.

How long does it take to complete courses?
In accordance with PMI standards, one PDU is awarded for every one hour of structured learning. For example, a 5 PDU course will take 5 hours to complete. The Student Dashboard includes a timer that tracks your learning progress. When the timer reaches the target time for the course, it will automatically mark the course as complete, and the PDUs will be reported to PMI.

What is the difference between a Plan and a Pass?
A Plan is a structured package that includes a set of pre-selected courses. Each Plan is thoughtfully curated to meet specific objectives, such as completing all necessary PDUs for PMP® renewal or focusing on a particular area of professional development. Plans provide a streamlined, guided experience, ideal for individuals who prefer a clearly defined path without the need to make individual course selections.

A Pass offers flexibility and choice, allowing you to select courses individually from your Student Dashboard. With a Pass, you have the freedom to tailor your learning experience to your personal interests, professional needs, or certification requirements. A resource within the Student Dashboard offers guidance to help you choose courses that fulfill PMI Talent Triangle credit areas while aligning with your specific development objectives.
